Semetra shows up to the baths!

Betrayed someone - Symetra 1. Symetra betrayed betrayed her entire crew- they lived and she didn’t. . She walked away from being a hero to her family - ran liked a coward and praised by the church- rewarded as the last survival of the Lunar of Wardens. She reveals that she is Moon-touched and as are all the Lunar Wardens., Semetra’s people where called Moon touched. 1. Their dead likely become the “Lunar Wardens” we’ve seen in battle… 2. They can draw upon the power of the moon. Their lunar abilities though are tainted alongside the eldritch moon. 3. Narissa knows of a concept of people connecting to the moon, with respect to the lunar warning they can connect to the moon. But depending on the moon;s cycle, their connection changed,
During the 33rd hunt (Last Glowering Moon that the party just experienced from the 51rst Hunt). During the 31rst Hunt- first Blood Moon Happened (Warron knows) a blood moon capable of raising those from the dead. It wa infamous because Stienheart went missing and Hight Tulio wnet missing (Nevella took his place) .**
Semetra doesn’t live for herself anymore. She isn’t allowed to.
Semetra reveals that Grey has been lying to us.
- That he’s wracked with guilt over something Her hair changes color, to an intense, deep, FULL RED.
- signifying the coming of a blood moon!
Verena mentions she’s developed a tattoo to dissuade madness based on the bond between comrades!
- Immunity to madness, and pause madness effects if we’re all in the same district! (With 7 people with the tattoo!)
That night, before bed.
Waron was offered a scroll, as invitation to the Ceremony for his initiation as an official member!
- He’ll be leaving that night, at sunset. (The ceremony requires a full moon)
Verena and Hugo
During the night, Verena gives Hugo the tattoo on his bicep for all to see when he is working in his shop. Him and Verena talk about maybe someday leaving this life behind. They talk and Hugo reveals that his mom died in childbirth and his father died during the 33rd hunt while giving a weapons demonstration (died during the blood moon). During this moon, skurge don’t die, they keep coming back and alive. “Meet a woman and make kids for the church with” - wtf . Hugo admits he is falling in love with Verena . They talk about having children and the possibility of not having children.
“Verena Shaw- wait that’s wrong - Verena Tera Harrow it would be an absolute honor of the Magmantbrant family to bequeath upon me your hand in girlfriend-hood” she agreed to go ‘steady’ with him and they kiss.

Cello & Waron visiting Archivald

Cello goes to meet with Archibold in the Sanctified District with Waron and Gray - they go to the New Money district. Archibold has a very grand mansion with private security (Minerva’s house was in the old money) . Gray dips out to go “meet” with someone. **Waron gets stiffed by the maid for a handshake.

As they arrive the servants mention that it is rare that he takes visitors. In the mansion there are lab hangars and rooms labeled with “mother” “father”. He is very pro alchemy because it allows those who are not powerful to become so. It is the ultimate equalizer and all we need is to utilize it. He asks Cello to give him a performance as promised in private (Moonlit Princess)
- snubbing Waron. Cello asks if Waron can join. They seem like they want to say no, but Waron coughs, intimidating them successfully.
Cello plays beautifully and improvises a few notes of the unfinished ending. She also admits Minerva Gershwin erased part of her memory.
He reveals that Camilla was a researcher who was working on a cure for a skurge - biologically- and sans magic, outside of the rule of the Church. But the research required resources- pieces of dangerous materials that the Church wanted to keep safe and hidden. These pieces were in the Ruby District and that she is there, her research is flourishing there but unable to leave. From reports supposedly she has been able to heal them, but these reports have been suppressed by the Church as the Church didn’t create it.. She has a naturopathic approach. He brings out a vail of red liquid - “one of the most powerful things in the city, something that could make the Church collapse upon its self” it could heal the Skurge.
Archbold seems highly suspicious of Lord Thomathin He promises us something significantly more dangerous than anything the church can give us.
- Offers us something of significant value that can overlap anything. Potion of healing! Better than their silver tonics

Cello and Waron offered a contingent alliance/support for the Alchemists, if they can manage to help/cure Minerva Gershwin, Cello’s Mistress.
Cello also expresses interest in trying to convince Ludwig/The Paladins of the potential cure for the scourge.
- They might not be interested, so Waron’s hesitant to approach them, until he’s of higher rank at least…
- Would he be willing to sacrifice himself for power, to enable others to gain a cure?
- Furthering his corruption to fight the church, to allow for a proper cure to be distributed.

Grey’s search in the Sanctified District
He’s searching for a woman partially covered by a cape of some sort.
- right hand carries something sharp at all times, seemingly to ward off would be assailants.
The Poster in the Grand Cathedral
It says :” Come one Come All for the Ballad of Blood Sports is among us-” posted in the Grand Cathedral. . Come the start if the Bloodmoon. Apparently The Bloodmoon lasts for 5 nights The fifth night is the worst night. Verena talks to Hugo again when he seems off put by the Bloodmoon. Hugo killed his dad, Verena killed her ex fiance when he was getting violent. She killed him in an uncontrolled release of her power, which is not controlled by a tattoo on her sleeve There are events during the Blood Moon and some sort of competition that competitors can have sponsors.. The main reward is a Luminous Tear -Church must grant a wish to the best of their abilities. =2000 GP.**
She appears to have some “history” with Grey (possible past romantic fling?)
She seems surprised to hear he was one of those responsible for the “train incident”.
Opens a pathway with her stiletto.
- To Grey’s “Home”? Seemingly some sort of training hall…

She seems to be insinuating that Grey is dying of something…

Verena and Hugo quick chat
What did hugo regret? Who did he kill? His father, who was infected with scourge, asked him to take his life in this last moments.
Hugo feels like he “ended” his family. And he doesn’t want to have to do that for any of us…
Hugo notes that she also drank… and asks who she killed.
- Her former “fiancé”, the arranged marriage guy. She claims to have not meant to, he was just getting very aggressive, and she managed to… successfully cast a spell, and… he blew up.
Her tattoo on her sleave helps her control that magic.
