Session Prep
We’re missing some players this time, so we’re just going up to the point of the moon’s beginning.
- This will be a Waron heavy session most likely.
Itinerary:
- Shopping for Dur’zoga
- Retroactively going back to shop for her a bit?
- Also shopping at the Sanctified Sinner
- Refresh the Reborn Blood Vial
- Regrouping with the Paladin of the Eldritch Hunt
- We’ll be with Thokk Bloodbather’s group, Geiger Steelveins
- We’re a very late
Session Intro
We’re heading over to join up with the Paladins of the Eldritch Hunt at The Silver Wolf
Session Notes
Waron visiting The Sanctified Sinner
Gets a refill for his vial of Reborn blood
- hears screams while it’s being refilled Puts together that the screams came from whatever the shop keep was just doing.
- He seems to have been enjoying himself?
- Claims to be thankful for the times they are in, which allow him to “pursue truth” in such a manner.
Red Cloaked figure passed me by on the way out the door.
- apparently another one of the workers there.
Marinus visits the Trap shop
He buys 4 Fire traps Then the shop keep begins inquiring about his ties, being a member of the blood cross without any bonds to the Hunters and all.
The Jaeger workshop is apparently within the same Shop
- Garran whatshisface They apparently are trying to recruit Jaegers. Even offering Marinus a chance.
- Apparently he could get access to the Jaeger’s workshop this way
- Or alternatively if they’re a friend of Garran’s.
- Maybe we do them a favor of sorts in the future?
On the way out the door, a blind man bumps into Marinus
- he feels up Marinus (to tell where he is in relation to himself)
- It’s Calvin! Paladins have allegations of fanaticism?!
Marinus ends up asking Calvin about The Veiled Hunter
Tips for Glowering moon:
- Keep your eyes peeled
- Stay out of the light
- Eldritch moons appear to be showing some sign of… symbiosis with the local scourge.
- Apparently they get buffs during these nights, not just courage.
Dur’zoga’s shopping
She visits Hugos to pick up her Cleaver Launcher, and buys 5 javlins/10 cleavers! It sounds like The Silver Wolf sells +1 gear! Though it’s pricy, starting around 1000 gold
Verena Shopping at Tattoo shop
There’s one that sets the user’s int at 19!
- this would be hilarious to use on Waron/Dur’zoga. Survivor’s Tattoo, gives the wearer resistance to incoming damage at Half HP, and makes them do +1d6 dmg!
- 4k gold The lock box apparently contains things meant to degrade/harm the beings the church care for?
- The shop keep is apparently keeping these out of the hands of those that would harm the church.
- Though they hold no love for the church, it more of a role of servitude.
The shop keep seeks freedom from his shackles.
- He wants the person who formed the “Coffin” within which he is trapped brought to him in exchange for that which resides within the safe.
The shop keep was thrown into the Abyssal keep. He’s super miffed that the other Osteomancy in there with him grifted his way into being in the good graces of the Church, by making those coffins, chaining the rest of his people…
- He’s within the Abyssal Keep on the first layer. Kysus Borovir
- He desires the KEY in exchange for the… secrets.
He offers far more powerful versions of these tattoos if we free him…
Barracks of the Battle Rest
Waron, Marinus, Dur’zoga all get the special for 40g each, gaining +5 & advantage to initiative rolls for the night
Keep some eye balls for him to cook with
- and big, bloody meat Marinus tries to get the group to stay and sit down for their meal, but Waron pleads with them to hurry, as they’re already very late for meeting up with the Paladins.
Meeting up with the Paladins
We fall into line, very late. The Paladins are already in formation, about to head out to their designated areas for the eldritch moon.
- Our group has completely missed the planning phase for this moon.
Waron’s in deep shit, Ludwig doesn’t even acknowledge him, and Geiger is fucking pissed as Waron tries to fall into line with the rest of the group in tow.
Marinus starts mouthing off, irritating him further before Waron politely asks him to press his lips together tightly (Please shut up!) Ludwig snubs Waron, looking in his direction, past him intentionally not noticing his existence. And the rest of the pack follows suite. Everyone appears to be treating him like he’s some form of garbage, whether it’s due to him being late/missing planning, or due to him leaving off on a bad foot with Ludwig, who’s to say.
- Waron is anxious as shit at this point.
The Paladins split off, Waron sticking with Geiger’s group, until they reach near their destination. Geiger gives orders to the Other paladins, Waron follows in tow, but is stopped in his tracks by Geiger. Due to him not showing up in time, hence them having no idea if he’d be there for the moon, he’s be relegated to Sewer duty at the back of the Cathedral.
- Sewer duty is, as it sounds, ensuring nothing comes out of the sewers. Though given we’re in the Grand Cathedral, it’s basically where they put the most useless people, as it’s not seen as a real concern.
- Make no mistake, this is a punishment.
